Stood before the mirror with strive,
which asked them all to hide and skive.
You call them fat, call them dark,
and this can’t be your reason to lark.
You judge their looks, judge their scar,
not knowing the intensity of their internal war.
They are beautiful and that’s their talent,
your opinion can’t make them ambivalent.
The day they will step out of this cage,
all your ego and pride they will damage.
The impact of it will be like a slap,
that poor, black, fat ,dark you’ll forget every gap.
It‘s time for you to create a hype,
by breaking the mirror of stereotype.
Very nice 👍
Yes, realize the potential of the life that is throbbing within. Its a great revelation for a girl of your age.
External beauty is skin deep. The real beauty lies in the heart and mind. The conflict in the mind of the poet is expressed, but the strive to achieve inner beauty should continue.A motivational rendition.
