We very sportingly take part in conversations and debates regarding social evils of all kind. We get angry, curse the government, make our own solutions and feel happy and satisfied to show others how concerned we are about issues and how good we analyse.

But the same us when see a social evil taking place (which very often does, everywhere) enjoy the view, ignore the victim and suddenly all our intelligence disappears. Everyone I know or don’t have the same cheap mentality .

Now 200% u will agree with what’s written below.

“Whenever we go to a place like ‘dhaba’ and see a child working, our

parent‘s first reaction is - look at that poor thing, he has nothing, no

no education, no future, you are so privileged! “. RIGHT?

But this doesn’t affect the child in any way . Instead if the parents could talk to the people around ,call the police and educate their children on child labour their future might get hope.

But NO ! We just want to TALK and show our greatness.

No matter how educatEd or rich you are accept the fact that you ignore a child working, a disabled being exploited, and elderly being mistreatEd and so on. HAVE SOME SHAME

DON’T SPEAK, IF U CANT REACT”

The author has boldly brought out some social evils like child labour, unsympathetic attitude shown to handicapped and elderly people of our society by some, and strongly criticised lip sympathy shown towards these people. As citizens our responsibility lies in acting to minimize such evils WITHOUT VIOLATING THE LAW OF THE LAND.At the same time ,a compassionate attitude should be shown by RESPONDING, ,NOT REACTING as the situation demands.
